By using Neighborhood Post, you agree to these Terms of Use. Neighborhood Post is a local marketplace platform for buying, selling, trading, and connecting with neighbors. The platform is currently in beta and may change over time.

User Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account.

You agree not to create fake accounts, impersonate others, use misleading information, or use the platform for spam, scams, harassment, or illegal activity.

Marketplace Activity

Users are responsible for their own listings, messages, transactions, pickups, deliveries, payments, and agreements.

Neighborhood Post does not own, inspect, verify, guarantee, or take responsibility for items listed by users.

All sales, trades, and meetups are arranged directly between users.

Safety

Users should use common sense when meeting others. Meet in safe public places when possible, tell someone where you are going, and avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.

Neighborhood Post is not responsible for disputes, losses, injuries, damaged items, failed transactions, or unsafe meetings between users.

Prohibited Activity

Users may not post or promote illegal, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, misleading, hateful, harassing, adult, dangerous, or otherwise inappropriate content.

Neighborhood Post may remove listings, restrict accounts, suspend users, or take other moderation action if activity violates platform rules or creates safety concerns.

Reports and Moderation

Users may report listings, messages, or accounts that appear unsafe, inappropriate, misleading, or against the rules.

Neighborhood Post administrators may review reports, messages, listings, and account activity when needed for safety, support, or rule enforcement.

Moderation decisions may include removing listings, closing reports, suspending accounts, or limiting access to features.

Paid Features

Neighborhood Post offers optional paid features, such as featuring a listing at the top of Browse for 7 days. Paid features are requested by the user and confirmed manually by an administrator after payment; a featured listing automatically stops being featured after 7 days unless renewed.

Paying for a featured listing increases its visibility but does not guarantee a sale, offer, message, or any particular outcome.

Beta Platform

Neighborhood Post is being actively developed. Features may change, break, be removed, or be updated at any time.

During beta, users should not rely on the platform as a guaranteed service.

No Guarantee

Neighborhood Post is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, secure, or suitable for every purpose.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated as the platform grows. Continued use of Neighborhood Post means you accept the updated terms.
